Utra X Morocco

Ultra X Morocco returns for a 2nd year to ‘The Doorway to the Desert’, Ouarzazate. Choose either the 2 day, 110km event, or the single stage 50km event on the Sunday. New for 2024, you can stay after the race for a 2 day all inclusive desert safari experience including camel riding, quadbiking, and sightseeing!

Ultra X Morocco is an event that takes place in and around the city of Ouarzazate (Pronounced – Wuh-zuh-zet) in November each year. It offers two races: Ultra X 110 Morocco and Ultra X 50 Morocco.

Nicknamed the door of the desert, Ouarzazate is positioned in south-central Morocco, south of the High Atlas Mountains. This course will take you on a sensory journey, past Kasbahs, through traditional fortified villages, lush oasises and over rocky desert whilst being supported by the wonderful local population.

Taking part in mid November, the climate conditions for the race should be temperate, with lows of  8°C in the evening but highs that could reach around 30°C during the day.

Ultra X 50 Morocco (50km race) takes place on the second day (Sunday) of Ultra X 110 Morocco.
